Mazlet uses account and learning activity data to save progress, synchronize devices, calculate readiness, and improve its driving-theory experience. This policy should still receive legal review before public launch.
Account data
Mazlet stores account details needed to save progress and manage access.
Learning and practice data
Mazlet stores lesson completion, practice and exam attempts, answer choices, correctness, timings, scores, topic and subtopic progress, and mistake-review history. Signed-in activity is linked to the account so it can be retrieved on another device.
Tests without an account
For a free test, Mazlet creates a random guest identifier in a secure cookie and stores test progress for up to 90 days. This can include start, completion or abandonment, answers, question order and version, timings, score, topic breakdown, locale, country, licence type, coarse device class, entry path, referrer hostname, campaign tags, review/restart activity, and signup conversion. The activity record does not store a raw IP address, a full referrer URL, or a browser fingerprint.
Account conversion
If a guest signs in or creates an account in the same browser, their guest test history is attached to that account so progress is not lost.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout. Mazlet should store payment references, not raw card data.
